Punishment has just been handed down for Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore for breaking the law in his fight against gay marriage.

According to, Moore will be suspended without pay for the rest of his term in office — essentially, fired. He's been found guilty of telling lower judges to defy any mandate allowing same-sex marriage in the state.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, recently commended Moore for breaking the law. He said Moore is an example of someone who rightly chose to follow God's law after man's law deviated far from it. Read Graham's full comments here.
