A super popular product has just been recalled from one of the largest retailers in America. Costco has announced that Tyson chicken nuggets, which are sold at their warehouses, have voluntarily been recalled.
Tyson Foods has recalled more than 130,000 pounds of precooked chicken nuggets due to a concern that the product may be “contaminated with hard plastic,” the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Tuesday.
The exact products in question are found below:
-5-lb. plastic packages of “Tyson WHITE MEAT PANKO CHICKEN NUGGETS” with a “BEST IF USED BY” date of “NOV 26 2019,” case code “3308SDL03” and time stamps 23:00 through 01:59 (inclusive).
The recall became public after numerous customers reportedly found foreign materials inside the chicken. At this time, there have been no confirmed injuries or deaths due to the incident.
"This is a class l recall, which means there is “reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.” However, no adverse events have been reported so far," according to reports.
