Students Pay For Giant Pro-Life Billboard In Times Square: "New Yorkers Reject Infanticide"

Wow, what a powerful group of students. Students For Life America paid for (and is now collecting donations) to put up a huge billboard decrying Governor Andrew Cuomo's recent decision to allow late-term abortions in New York. “When I asked our supporters if they wanted to send a pro-life message in Times Square, the answer was a resounding YES,” said SFLA President Kristan Hawkins.

Hawkins told LifeNews: “We had to fight to have our message heard as twice companies pulled the plug on our custom-made ad after intensive negotiations. But we don’t give up on college campuses, even when facing threats of violence, and we didn’t give up on sending a message to the vast majority of New Yorkers who reject infanticide and are horrified by the abortion extremism recently legalized in New York.”

“Our billboard is set to run on a 50-foot-tall HD video screen in one of the busiest locations on the planet. Over three days, the 15 second video ad will run a minimum of 720 times and be seen by tens – if not hundreds – of thousands of people,” Hawkins shared.

“Late term abortion and infanticide for babies born during abortions are barbaric and represent the human rights issue of our day,” Hawkins said. “The Pro-life Generation will not forget the least of these among us, mothers and their pre-born infants, who deserve our help and support.”

Wow, how powerfully said. SFLA also paid for a poll earlier this year that showed only 7 percent of Millennials support late term abortion. Similarly, a Marist poll discovered that nearly 7 out of 10 New Yorkers are against late-term abortion. If this is how "liberal" New Yorkers feel, imagine how overwhelmingly pro-life the rest of the nation is turning.

Clearly God is working. The powerful pro-life movie "Unplanned" has been making a huge impact in America, opening at #5 and turning the hearts of abortion workers. Already, some 100 abortion clinic workers have shared they want out of the industry after watching "Unplanned."

“One percent of the abortion workers in the United States, after getting one look at them being portrayed on film, have decided to change their lives … and what they do for a living," Chuck Konzelman, director of the Pure Flix movie “Unplanned,” told Congress this week.

There are also numerous testimonies of women, previously seeking abortions, who have changed their minds after watching the movie. Praise God! Let's pray God continues to work in the hearts of Americans to help us become an abortion-free nation! Do you agree?
