Woman Arrested After 100+ Cases of Needles Found in Strawberries in Grocery Stores

Some disturbing news was reported out of Australia on Monday. A 50-year-old woman was arrested after being connected to an unsolved mystery that lasted the last several months.

According to reports, several needles or pins were discovered in strawberries in supermarkets all throughout the country earlier this year. Overall, at least 100 cases were reported.

The needles were found in strawberries in at least six different brands and were scattered in several different grocery chains. Now, a woman has finally been arrested in the case.

According to reports, My Ut Trinh was charged with seven counts of contamination of goods and will face up to 10 years in prison. Trinh had allegedly placed needles in the fruit as a form of revenge.

Reportedly, Trinh had been a former supervisor at the Berrylicious and Berry Obsession farm. She felt mistreated by coworkers and had spoken to some about seeking revenge.
