Some troubling news was just confirmed out of Los Angeles. Steven Adler, the famous drummer for Guns N’ Roses, has been hospitalized after a stabbing.

Sadly, reports were confirmed that Adler had made a possible suicide attempt. According to People, Los Angeles Police Department’s Jeff Lee said that they responded to a call on Thursday night.

He said, “Upon arrival, LAPD officers determined that there was no crime and the incident was being treated as a medical emergency only. The subject was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.”

Adler’s representative has not yet spoken out about the incident.

The 52-year-old musician has spoken out in the past about substance abuse. He has been in the public eye for years as the band found major success.

There were times that Adler had to be away from the band for injuries or sickness, once in 1987 and again in 1989 during the American Music Awards. It was later revealed that he was absent due to being in a drug rehabilitation program.

In 1990, Adler was kicked out of the band. However, he was later invited back in, only under the condition that he would stay away from drugs. He was released again when he broke that contract.

In 2012, Adler was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his contribution in the band. Despite his massive success as a musician, his personal life was still in a spiral.

Now, he sadly has attempted to take his own life. Many people have spoken out, asking for prayers for Adler during this time.

Please keep Steven in your prayers during this time. We will update when more information is revealed. Meanwhile, share your prayers here. In other recent news, rumors were running wild after an Oscar-winning actress got injured from a bad fall. Despite the rumors, however, she is okay!
