The sad news was just confirmed that a beloved TV actor has passed away after a battle with cancer. Steven “Bean” Levy died at the age of 58.

Levy, most famous for his roles in “Shameless” and “Ray Donovan,” reportedly passed away on January 21. The news has just been made public. Sadly, he passed away after a long battle with nose cancer.

Five months before his death, Levy opened up about his journey with nose cancer. He wrote an essay titled “My Year Without a Nose.” The actor, comedian, and writer had been diagnosed with Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in late 2016.

Steve Levy has several credits to his name, working on over 30 popular shows throughout his career. Some of his credits include “Days of Our Lives,” “Veronica Mars,” “Monk,” “Justified,” “Charmed,” “3rd Rock From the Sun,” and more.

Levy became extremely vulnerable with his fans when he opened up about his experience with his rare form of cancer.

He wrote, “Attempting to smell the roses when sino-nasal squamous cell carcinoma (aka nose cancer) has left me with a plastic imitation schnoz and put my life in peril. If you’re keeping track at home, I’ve now lost my nose, my tear ducts, my upper palate and gums, all but four of my teeth, my appetite, my right cheekbone, much of my right jawbone, much of my right cheek, my eyebrows and moustache (chemo), the feeling in my upper lip (surgery), most of the motor control of the right side of my face (surgery) and some hearing in each ear (chemo). I also lost about 40 pounds, and worst of all, I lost my sense of humor.”

He continued, “All of that physical stuff ain’t ever coming back. Luckily, my sense of humor came back about a month ago. Not a moment too soon either: The latest scans show yet another recurrence of the cancer. The doctors tell me I have nine to twelve months to live.”

Sadly, Steve Levy has now passed away. Thankfully, he isn’t in any pain anymore.

Steve is survived by his wife, Caroline Carrigan, his son, Jacob, and his parents, Irwin and Dorothy Levy. Please keep them in your prayers during this time! Share your prayers here. In other recent news, Nancy Pelosi's strange golf clap toward Trump just went viral. Now we know why she did it.
