Starmer tells PM ‘we have had enough’

Prime Minister Boris Johnson was confronted by Keir Starmer, Labour leader, after the resignations on Tuesday of Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak, senior secretaries of state.

Starmer focused on the appointment of former minister Chris Pincher, grilling the PM, asking Johnson to avoid “bluster and half truths”, something of which Starmer said “we’ve all had enough”.

Johnson told MPs that he “greatly regrets” Pincher continuing in office after complaints had been made before Starmer pointed at the ministerial team that remains. “The charge of the light weight brigade”.
