Back in September, "Law and Order: SVU" actress Kelli Giddish revealed the exciting that she'd be a mother for the second time by debuting her baby bump.

Now, the actress who was already mother to a little boy, has welcomed her second child. Her husband, Lawrence Faulborn, shared the happy news on social media.

He shared a black-and-white photo of the baby's feet. He captioned the photo, "#TheFamilyJustGotTwoFeetBigger."

In addition, Michael Chernuchin, a producer on the show, congratulated the actress on the exciting news via Twitter.

"Mazel Tov @KelliGiddish," he wrote.

Neither the child's name nor sex was revealed.

The actress shared the happy news on the red carpet of the Tribeca TV Festival in New York, which happened to be the 20th season premiere of her show. PEOPLE also confirmed the news.

She revealed the happy news with her baby bump, and then she confirmed it to E! News. She is expecting her second child with her husband, Lawrence Faulborn. The couple also shares two-year-old Ludo, who they welcomed in October 2015.

Giddish, who plays Detective Amanda Rollins on NBC's long-running show, will reportedly remain on the show. Her pregnancy will be written into her character's storyline.

This would be the second time that the actress has had her real-life pregnancy written into SVU. They also wrote her pregnancy into season 17 while Giddish was pregnant with Ludo.

"Law and Order: SVU" has been on the air since 1999. It still has its original stars, Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T, as detectives in the New York Police Department’s Special Victims Unit.

Giddish joined the show in 2011 during its 13th season. She has been in a total of 171 episodes of the show. She posed with Hargitay on the red carpet, highlighting her baby bump.

In May, NBC renewed the series for a 20th season. This ties it for the longest-running scripted drama in television history. The other longest are the original "Law and Order" and CBS's show "Gunsmoke."

In other news, Melania Trump just fired back after Michelle Obama criticized her for not taking her advice on how to be the first lady. She isn't taking this sitting down.
