Report: Multiple Shots Fired at Mall, Building Evacuated as Suspects Fled on Foot

On Saturday afternoon a mall in Delaware County, PA was shut down after shots were fired right outside of the building. According to initial reports, several shots were fired outside of Springfield Mall.

According to Fox, people were involved in a fight inside of the mall when they decided to move the fight outside. At around 1 p.m., shots were fired.

Police sources revealed that “multiple suspects” fled the scene immediately after. The mall was immediately evacuated.

The Springfield Police Department said, “Update on mall incident. Officers were called to the Springfield Mall at about 1:05 p.m.  They are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the parking lot near Baltimore Pk between two groups who had an argument inside. No one was hurt and police are still investigating.”

No injuries were reported immediately following the incident.
