Shocking Update About Shooting That Killed 5, There Could Have Been More Deaths

According to Reuters, police found a suspected explosive device in Maryland newspaper office after shooting. It appears that the suspect, who is in custody, wanted to inflict even more damage than a shooting. 

A shooting has occurred at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland. The reports came from the staff of the Gazette, which is a paper owned by The Baltimore Sun.

According to ABC News, 5 people are confirmed dead in the shooting. The shooter is in custody and being interrogated by police. 

The shooter is reportedly not cooperating. His identity is currently unknown as he had no ID on him. 

As a precaution, NYPD has posted officers outside of the newspapers in New York City. The motive for the shooting has not been released as of yet. 

Phil Davis, a Gazette reporter, said that multiple people had been shot, reported the Baltimore Sun. Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

According to NBC news, ATF Baltimore is at the scene of the shooting. There is no news on the motive.
