Crown Prince of Middle Eastern Country, Fashion Designer Dies Unexpectedly at 39

The news was just confirmed that crown prince from the United Arab Emirates has unexpectedly passed away at an extremely young age. Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the crown prince and a fashion designer, died at the age of 39. 

According to People, the crown prince was the heir to one of the seven emirates that are part of the UAE. His death came just a few weeks after he appeared at London Fashion Week. 

Not only was he an heir to the throne, he also had a huge interest in fashion and started his own line, Qasimi. A few weeks before his sudden death, he debuted his spring/summer 2020 ready to wear collection at London Fashion Week. 

Qasimi, the fashion brand, posted on their official social media account following the founder's death.

The company stated, "The design world has lost a great philosopher and artist, and we ask that the privacy of the family, team and brand are respected at this difficult time."

The young prince's death was confirmed on Tuesday. 

According to BBC, Khalid died while he was still in London. The London police said that they had received a report of "a sudden death at a residential property in Knightsbridge." 

As of early Wednesday morning EST, the police had stated that a post-mortem examination had been conducted. However, the results proved inconclusive. The death is still being reported as "unexplained."

The Daily Mail reported that the fashion chain-owner died from a drug overdose in his London penthouse. However, that has not yet been confirmed.

On Wednesday, July 3, his funeral will be held. Additionally, there will be three days of flying the flags at half-mast in order to mourn his death.
