On Wednesday, August 15, it was reported that police were frantically searching for "endangered missing" 34-year-old Shannan Watts and her two young girls, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste.

The trio had last been seen on Monday, August 13 in Frederick, Colorado. Shannan was pregnant at the time of the disappearance.

In initial reports, police did not say whether or not they believed that foul play was involved in this case. Throughout the first few days of the search, husband and father Chris Watts pleaded for a safe return for Shannan and his two daughters.

Below is one of his interviews:

Based on the interview, it seemed as though Chris wanted the public to believe that the trio was alive and that they had either voluntarily left or that they were taken. When asked if they had gotten into a fight, he blew off the answer.

Now, horrible news has been reported. According to Fox News, authorities have arrested Chris Watts in connection with the case. While he has not yet officially been charged with murder, a family member posted on Facebook that Watts had confessed to the murder.

Frankie Rzucek, Shannan’s brother,  said, “…He killed my pregnant sister and my two nieces. Her husband Chris watts admitted to murdering my family. Edit: We just found out she was pregnant with a baby boy and his name was going to be [Niko].”

Frankie continued, “I just want to know why. My precious family my one and only sibling,  my sister Shannan, 2 adorable nieces Bella  and Celest and her soon to be found out unborn son Niko…”

According to KCNC, the suspect has told authorities that he will show police where the bodies are of the victims so that they may be recovered.

Please be praying for the remaining family members during this horrible time. We will continue to update as more information is revealed. In other recent news, parents are being warned to steer clear of popular cereals and snacks contaminated with a deadly chemical.
