One of Obama’s most senior intelligence officials just revealed how little interest Obama had in the country’s defense or intelligence issues. Former Lt. General Michael Flynn was appointed by Obama twice to senior positions, including as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
With the many serious threats that America faces from enemies across the world, one would expect the president to take them seriously and to be kept up to date on such issues. According to the Blaze, in the entire time that Flynn served with the Defense Intelligence Agency he never once met with Obama. “He’s very aloof and very distant,” Flynn said. “I wasn’t on his screen at all. I wasn’t on his radar which is really sad. It’s amazing.”
“Here is the crux of my relationship with Obama,” Flynn said. “Here I am, running one of the largest intelligence agencies in the world. He appoints me twice, once as the assistant director of national intelligence and one as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. I’m also his senior intelligence officer. And I had almost five years in combat. I never met with him once.”
Does this shock you? It should.
