Despite being Donald Trump's most vocal unofficial spokesperson, Ben Carson doesn't hold back when asked if he has problems with the way Trump conducts himself as a presidential candidate.
According to an interview with WABC, Carson said reading the Bible and praying could certainly help Trump temper his tone toward those who attack him. Using his own life an example, Carson said lashing out at people is selfish and a "sign of weakness."
He advised that Trump "learn how to step out of the center of the circle, [because if you] let it be about others, it's very difficult for anybody to make you angry. Just because somebody does something to us, you don't have to jump up and down."
He then shared a verse he believes will help, quoting Proverbs 19:11: "The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression."
