On July 9th, Prince Louis was christened. The little royal finally appeared in public once again, looking every inch a prince in his mother's arms.
The youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was christened at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby. For the ceremony, Prince Louis wore a replica of the Royal Christening Robe, according to the palace’s website.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the christening, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla Parker. Others attending include members from Kate Middleton’s family and Prince Louis’ six godparents and their spouses, reported Independent.
The godparents will be Mr. Nicholas van Cutsem (a close friend of Prince William), Mr. Guy Pelly (another friend of Prince William who is also a godfather of Prince George), Mr. Harry Aubrey-Fletcher (old friend of Prince William), The Lady Laura Meade (distant cousin of Camilla Parker and the wife of James Meade — godfather of Princess Charlotte), Mrs. Robert Carter (close friend of Duchess Kate), and Miss Lucy Middleton (Duchess Kate’s cousin).
Photos released from the christening show the little prince for the first time since his parents showed him to the world after his birth. He's clearly grown, and he's the sweetest angel in his mother's arms.
This is also the first time Prince William and Duchess Kate have been seen together with all three of their children. They're a beautiful family of five!
Blessings on Prince Louis and the whole royal family. May God bless William and Kate and their children for many years to come.
