It was a stylish night to remember! The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards served up major fashion drama with Hollywood’s biggest names slaying the red carpet.
LizzoOn Sunday, August 28, the Prudential Center in New Jersey welcomed a few stars. Jean Paul Gaultier’s stunning balloon gown was the perfect choice for the star. On the carpet, dramatic silhouettes were a popular trend. Pianist Chloe FlowerCeline’s polka dots mini dress with massive bow-shaped sleeves impressed. The 37-year old composer wore a trendy pair of white platform shoes and a dainty hat.
Last year’s red carpet was also a moment. The unspoken theme of edginess was evident as stars stepped out wearing goth-inspired glam. For Kourtney KardashianAnd Travis Barker‘s red carpet debut as a couple, the lovebirds — who tied the knot in May 2022 — wowed in all-black outfits. Barker, 46, was shirtless and wore a blazer, while Kardashian, 43, wore an all-black mini dress with lace-up leather by Olivier Theyskens, Manolo Blahnik heels, and Lorainne Schwartz jewels.

The ceremony is set to be a big night for Minaj, 39, as the rapper will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award — VMAs equivalent of a lifetime achievement trophy. Past honorees are Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer LopezAnd Missy Elliott.
