Bonjour, style lovers Paris Fashion Week kicked off with a bang, as stars included Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) and more traveled to the city of love to celebrate spring/summer 2023 trends.
Jenner, 25, made her grand entry at Acne Studio presentation on Wednesday, September 28. She wore a cape gown with an angelic design that highlighted her famous figure. Jenner paired the floor-length gown with white sunglasses and wore her black hair in a sleek bun. The big day was significant for Kylie Cosmetics founder, as she attended the Balmain show later in the evening. The beauty mogul changed from her white gown to a woven minidress with a plunging collar.
Thanks to Cher. The Grammy winner, 76 years old, closed the show in a figure-hugging bodysuit with platform boots that she wore down the runway. As she showcased her modeling skills, her hit “Strong Enough” played in the background.
Ashley GrahamThe show featured a blazer dress with abstract patterns that had a corset bodice. “BALMAIN. thank you @olivier_rousteing for being the sweetest soul,” the Nebraska native, 34, captioned an Instagram carousel of her runway moment, praising the label’s creative director.
Jenner was able to maintain her momentum at the Schiaparelli preview on September 29th. The TV personality looked ravishing in a blue velvet gown by the label. The elegant gown featured a sweetheart neckline with a flared skirt. Jenner paired the design with a black choker with a human-shaped charm. Graham attended the show in a black halter dress and a gold chain. Creative director was also present on the runway. Notable was also the Saint Laurent show on Tuesday 27 September. Bieber, 25 years old, looked beautiful in a pink mini dress with capped sleeves. She paired it with black pumps. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley delivered drama in a black gown that was designed with a gathered bodice. Kate MossA ruched mini-dress and a plush fur coat were also worn by the actress.
The collection — brought to life by Anthony Vaccarello — was inspired by dancer Martha Graham, Women’s Wear Daily reported. The line included sheer dresses, cutout jumpsuits and floor-length coats — all of which clung to the bodies of the models that walked down the runway.
