Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth disappeared on Thanksgiving Day, and her family is asking for help to bring her home, reported CBS.
The 29-year-old was last seen on Thanksgiving Day shopping with her 1-year-old daughter, Kaylee. She was last seen at a Safeway on November 22 where surveillance cameras captured her shopping with her daughter, Kaylee. Shortly after, her fiancé and Kaylee's father, Patrick Frazee, picked up his daughter.
Kelsey hasn't been seen since then. However, she wasn't reported missing until 10 days later.
Three days after she was last seen in Woodland Park, Colorado, her phone pinged in Gooding, Idaho. On that same day, November 25, two text messages were apparently sent from her cellphone. One told her employer—Doss Aviation, where she was a flight instructor—that she would not be showing up to work the following week. The second message was sent to Frazee.
Now Kelsey's family is asking for the public's help to bring her home. When investigators began searching for her, they found her found her cars, her clothes, her toothbrush, and even cinnamon rolls that had been there since Thanksgiving.
Her mother, who reported her daughter missing on December 2nd, tearfully appealed for Bereth's safe return.
"Kelsey, we just want you home. Call us if you can, and we won't quit looking," Cheryl Berreth said. "Someone knows where she's at ... She's not the kind that runs off. This is completely out of character."
People have asked questions about why her fiancé failed to report her missing. While that wasn't directly addressed, police said there haven't been any reports of domestic violence involving the couple, and he is not a person of interest.
"We are treating Kelsey's disappearance as a missing person's case at this time. We have not identified anyone as a suspect, and are asking the public for any information that might help us find her," De Young said.
Please pray that Kelsey is found safely! This is such a sad case.
