Sean Hannity from Fox News took a major stand for Christianity recently, while simultaneously, slamming the ways of Hollywood. The conservative voice, who upholds conservative Christian values on his show, has just finished producing his first movie production, “Let There Be Light,” an upcoming Christian film.
Hannity appeared on CBN News on Tuesday, October 24th to talk more about the movie and why he made the decision to take part in it. In the interview, he also touched slightly on current political issues.
He revealed, “I’ve always felt that Hollywood has a contempt, if you will, for conservatives, conservative values, Christian conservative values in particular. I just think they’re missing a void. I said to Kevin [Sorbo]...if you have another project, maybe we can work together.”
Days later, Hannity heard from Sorbo, the movie’s director, about “Let There Be Light.” Sorbo, well-known for his starring role in “Hercules,” carries a main role in the film and also played in the Christian movie “God’s Not Dead.”
The movie, which will be released on Friday, October 27th, is life-changing, according to Hannity. The storyline of the film revolves around a famous atheist author who is struggling between his fame and his family, entering his journey to salvation.
Hannity stated, “I love this movie. This movie is heart, mind, soul. Of all the people that I shown the movie to...everybody cries. It’s very unpredictable. It’s an emotional rollercoaster and I’m pretty proud of it...It impacts you spiritually. I know people that have said to me after the movie, ‘this changed my life’.”
