A terrible news story is breaking this morning. According to reports, two armed teenagers have just stormed an elementary school and opened fire on the students inside.

"The unidentified gunmen, who appeared to be between 20 and 25 years of age, shot and killed a worker at a nearby car wash before their attack at the school," reported the Daily Mail.

At this time, ten people are said to have been killed in the massacre. 17 others are reportedly wounded. The gunmen are also said to have turned their weapons on themselves and committed suicide before police were able to apprehend them.

"Six children were killed as they sat down to their snack break along with two teachers before the shooters killed themselves at the Professor Raul Brasil school in the Suzano suburb of the city. At least 17, mostly children, were also shot at the elementary school and taken to hospitals, police said in a written statement. The state of their health was not immediately known," reported the Daily Mail.

Police and first responders are currently on the scene. Officials say they have never seen anything like this ever before.

"Within the school, the police found what appeared to be Molotov cocktails and a wired-up suitcase. The bomb-squad were scrambled to the scene as armed officers descended on the school. Police arrived eight minutes after the shooting started and did not confront the gunmen, who had already killed themselves, he said," according to reports.
