Nominee for the Golden Globes and the Saturday Night Live star were first spotted together in May 2017 at an afterparty celebrating the NBC variety show’s season 42 finale. They were hot and heavy all summer and spent weekends and holidays together on Long Island’s East End.
They made their first public appearance together in December at the American Museum of Natural History Gala. The couple also made their TV debut that month, when they held hands while ice skating at Rockefeller Center. SNL.
Jost accompanied Johansson to the Los Angeles premiere screening of her movie. Avengers: Infinity WarTheir first red carpet appearance together was in April 2018. The next month, he called Johansson his “girlfriend” during a “Weekend Update” segment on SNL.
The couple remained low-key as they continued to attend red carpets together until the end 2018, including the Met Gala in April and the Emmys September. By February 2019, Us WeeklyThe couple announced that they had moved in together.

After two years of dating, Johansson & Jost announced their engagement in May 2019. It was announced that the couple had quietly tied the knot in October 2020, surrounded only by their immediate family members and loved ones.
This is Jost’s first marriage. Meanwhile, Johansson was previously married to Ryan ReynoldsFrom 2008 to 2011, and Romain DauriacFrom 2014 to 2017. Rose is her daughter with the French journalist Jost. Jost and Johansson welcomed their first child, Cosmo, in the summer 2021.
