Talk about a throwback! Ryan Gosling debuted his new ‘80s style on the first day of filming his new movie, The Fall Guy — and it’s a far cry from the bleach-blond look he sported as Barbie’s beau.
Gosling, 41 years old, was seen wearing dirty blond hair and a full-beard while filming the action flick in Sydney on October 20. Canada’s native wore his longer hair in a red jacket, white collared shirt, matching baseball cap and sat atop five stories of car parking.

The movie — which costars Emily BluntDirector is the helm. David Leitch — is based on the ’80s television show of the same name and is set to debut in March 2024. The TV series was aired from 1981 through 1986 and centers on Lee Majors who was a bounty hunter in order to make extra money between Hollywood gigs.
The gruff look and drab ensemble are a stark contrast to Gosling’s recent portrayal of Ken in live-action. Barbie movie. Gosling will appear opposite Margot Robbieas the title character in the Greta GerwigThe adaptation is a directed adaptation and will premiere sometime in 2023. America Ferrera, Kate McKinnonAnd Simu Liu.
Fans weren’t the only ones who went crazy over Gosling’s SoCal transformation. The actor’s longtime partner, Eva Mendes, enjoyed his movie transformation as well, with a sole source telling the story Weekly in August, “They were actually having fun role-playing together after he went blond,” and “both got some good laughs.”
Mendes and Gosling, 48, met while filming The Place Beyond the PinesThey have been together since 2011. Us confirmed in September 2014 that they welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda. Their second child, Amada was born two years later.
