A terrifying story has just been reported out of New Jersey after police arrested four individuals. According to the report, four Massachusetts residents have been charged with keeping a 16-year-old girl in a basement that a police officer described as a "torture chamber."

The teen who was kidnapped was subjected to horrendous conditions and brutal assaults. She was held captive for two days before being rescued by police.

"The victim said Christopher Lugo told her she was drugged with marijuana laced with Xanax and was sexually assaulted by multiple people on Christmas Day, an Auburn detective testified, reports the Herald. The victim reportedly said Krystal Lugo threatened to kill the victim and her family if she spoke to police," according to CBS.

The suspects in the case have been charged with kidnapping the young woman after a home invasion at a New Jersey residence. Apparently, the suspects blamed the woman for the home invasion and tortured her in order to get her to admit her fault in the incident. At this time, it is unclear if she had anything to do with it or not.

At this time, it is also unclear if the suspects knew the victim before this event or if this is an isolated incident. Those accused of crimes are currently awaiting trial. Please join us in praying for all victim of assault and abuse. May God's healing grace comfort their lives.
