On Wednesday evening, during Roy Moore's speech and worship service at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Theodore, Alabama, a liberal protester interrupted Moore's speech after infiltrating the church.
He then began to shout at Moore, claiming that "the whole town says you did it!"
Moore then responded to the allegations against him, claiming "The entire town? All the girls are lying?"
Breitbart News reported that the man was shouted down by the entire church and escorted out of the building by police. Attendees of the service were screaming at the liberal protester, telling him that he should be ashamed.
“I must remind everyone present this is a worship service,” the pastor said, taking the microphone and trying to calm the crowd. “And by the way, it is illegal to disturb a worship service.”
After hearing the pastor's comments the crowd began to cheer. Then the pastor made another comment aimed directly at the protester.
"The next one who disturbs the service will be turned over to the police," he said. "As the pastor of this church, I'm saying we're going to do things peacefully and in order. If you love Roy Moore or you hate Roy Moore, listen."
Soon after the incident, it was revealed that the disrupter was a comedian named Tony Barbieri, who is a part of Jimmy Kimmel's crew. Kimmel, a critic of the Alabama Senate candidate, has revealed that he is very proud of the incident, and thinks it was an appropriate form of protest in the aftermath of recent sexual abuse allegations against Moore.
As a result of the protest, the Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore and late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel are clashing on Twitter. They have been tweeting back-and-forth to each other all afternoon.
"If you want to mock our Christian values, come down here to Alabama and do it man to man," tweeted Moore to Kimmel on Thursday afternoon.
Kimmel responded by attacking what he perceives to be Moore's lack of Christian morals, claiming that Moore doesn't have "Christian values."
In response to Kimmel, Moore informed the comedian that despite D.C. and Hollywood's bigotry toward southerners, they would save him a seat in the front pew.
Kimmel responded by making fun of Roy Moore's choice of clothing.
In recent news, the Bentham Brothers have a warning for Christians who are attacking Roy Moore.
