Robertson Family Makes Huge Announcement, the Dynasty Is Growing

July 24, 2018Jul 24, 2018

There's going to be a new Duck Dynasty baby!

Willie Robertson's daughter, Rebecca Lo Robertson, is expecting a baby with her husband, John Reed Loflin. This is their first child together,

“I’m almost 15 weeks now,” Rebecca revealed to Us Weekly exclusively.

She also shared that she's due on January 15. The 29-year-old shared how she broke the happy news to her husband.

She started out by telling her sister Bella, 15. She enlisted Bella to help her surprise her husband in the perfect way.

“I wanted to tell him on his birthday,” Rebecca explained. “I bought a little baby denim jacket cause me and my husband both love denim jackets and we always wear matching stuff."

John didn't understand the clue. He thought it was for their French bulldog. It took seeing the pregnancy test for him to understand what was happening.

“He was shocked and like, ‘Wait, what!?’” Rebecca recalled. “He was just crying then, of course, I was laughing the whole time.”

Rebecca shared that her famous parents were just as surprised and exciting. Rebecca has been living with the Robertsons as an exchange student from Taiwan since she was 16. Although they never legally adopted her, Willie and Korie consider her one of their children.

“My mom was like, ‘Oh my god! Ah! Ah!’ And then she started crying and she was like, ‘Are you feeling okay?’”

Rebecca and John have been married since December 2016. They are both just praying for a healthy baby, but they are looking forward to knowing the sex.

“I think John Reed is thinking like, he wants to show his boy how to play draws and go hunt and you know,” she said. “But of course girls can do all of that too.”

Congratulations to the Robertson family! A baby is always such exciting news! May God bless their family as they accept this new life. In other news, the FDA has recalled a common heart and high blood pressure medication because it may cause cancer. Does this impact you or a loved one?
