A beloved veteran television actor, Robert Mandan, sadly passed away recently. News regarding his death was not released until the beginning of June, but according to reports, he actually passed away earlier this year on April 29th.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, he died in Los Angeles, California following a long illness; details surround the illness were not provided. He was 86 years old at the time of his passing.
Mandan was best-known for his role as Chester Tate in the hit 1970s-1980s series “Soap.” He also starred in “Three’s Company,” “Three’s a Crowd,” and several other tv shows and films during his successful acting career.
Fans were deeply saddened by the loss of Mandan. Many paid a tribute to the late actor via social media.
