Recently, the world watched as the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl, concluded an otherwise terrific season. Since the game ended, some Patriots players have been taking time away from football to spread some joy.

One of those players is Rob Gronkowski. Commonly referred to as "Gronk" by fans and friends, the gigantic tight end has been doing an exceptional job at giving back to his community.

Recently, Rob visited not one, but three, hospitals within a single day! He also took along his family to help him spread some cheer to children who were fighting illnesses or diseases and are in the hospital. Rob also dropped some serious money in the donation boxes while he was there!

"Rob, along with his bro Dan and father Gordie -- decided today would be the day they distributed the $75,000 they raised by raffling off tickets to the Super Bowl," according to reports.

Gronk chose the three hospitals because they have good relationships with his own foundation. It was amazing to witness the joy and happiness he brought to the children while he visited them.

The donation spree started off at Boston Children's Hospital, where Gronk played games with the kids and then presented a $25,000 check. He also visited Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, Maine, followed by Hasbro Children's Hospital in Rhode Island. Those hospitals also received checks for $25,000 as well, reported TMZ.
