RHOA’s Porsha William’s Speaks Out About Spin-Off Brawl: Physical Violence Is Never Okay, Especially When A Man Is Causing Physical Harm To Women

Ex-Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha WilliamsShe released a statement regarding the explosive altercation that took part in her spin-off. Porsha’s Family Matters. She wrote this in an Instagram post that has since been deleted:

“There is a lot that viewers didn’t get to see tonight and I wish we had more cameras to capture that, which I understand is nobody’s fault,”

She continued:

“I’ve learned in the past that physical violence is never okay, especially when a man is causing physical harm to women. That is something we are too desensitized to as a society.”

The author stated that her family had initially refused to address the footage. According to her statement, they kept quiet “to protect DennisHis business is therefore [their] own daughter.” PorshaNow, she regrets their decision. She continued:

“I take accountability for reacting strongly to what I was seeing and hearing. While I was not physical with Ms. Gina, I regret arguing with an elder.”

She concluded:

“We’re six months removed from this incident and I’m looking forward, not backwards.”

Bravo aired Episode 6 of the series last night (Jan. 9, 2008). The episode featured members Porsha and her ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley’sFamily in a physical altercation. The production crew was involved in a massive mess of chaos, throwing jabs and throwing objects.

With PorshaBeing a part Real Housewives Long-time fans have been supporting the franchise since 2012 and they shared mixed emotions on social media.

“So what I saw was… Dennis didn’t hit NOBODY!!!!!! But EVERYBODY was pounding Dennis. Mama Gina may have hit Porsha but Dennis didn’t touch ANYONE! #PorshasFamilyMatters.”
