According to reports by Fox News and Page Six, Paris Jackson's family is fearing for the young woman's life. They were concerned after the 20-year-old posted a video of herself walking on the ledge of a skyscraper.
She posted the video, which is no longer available, in March. In the video, Jackson can be seen hanging out with her rumored girlfriend, Cara Delevingne, 25. Paris and the actress can be heard talking loudly to one another. According to Page Six, they were "failing to complete sentences and staggering about."
Suddenly, the video cuts to Paris walking on a ledge. Far below, vehicles and pedestrians can barely be seen. They appear to be dozens of stories above the ground.
It reportedly gave her family flashbacks to the infamous 2002 incident in which Paris’ father, Michael, dangled his then-infant son, Blanket, over a fourth-floor balcony of the Hotel Adlon in Berlin.
“But this is worse than that because I still think Michael had control of Blanket and they weren’t nearly as high up as Paris is in this video,” the relative told Page Six. “She’s lost it. She really has.”
Terrifyingly, Paris momentarily loses her balance in the vide. Luckily, she slips back into Delevingne’s arms.
According to Fox, she captioned the video: “I almost died!”
They also told Page Six that they were so disturbed by the video that they can't show it to Paris' paternal grandparents.
“Everyone saw that video, and even though we all knew that she’s now OK, watching it was so traumatic that nobody wants to show it to either Katherine or Joe,” said the relative.
The insider also said they believe Paris is out of control and heading for a “serious meltdown.”
They aren't planning to intervene in her life, but they're still concerned.
“It’s not happening, but everyone will regret it if she dies out there.”
Fox added, "The worries are compounded by the young woman’s troubled past, which has, by her own accounts, included three suicide attempts and a history that includes self-harming, being cyberbullied and sexually assaulted, and struggling with sobriety and self-esteem issues."
The family is also concerned about her relationship with Delevingne, which sources says started in May 2017. They believe it has made her life more dangerous.
“Paris feels free, crazy and uninhibited around her female companions. It just feels right,” said the relative.
They are concerned about her "bizarre" behavior which includes chain-smoking, taking selfies in a "rundown area," and being photographed licking windows.
They're also keeping her relationship from her grandmother. The source said that Katherine Jackson is not a "champion of same-sex couples."
“In fact, she may even be distraught and believe she failed as a guardian," the relative added.
In other sad news, a famous actor passed away at only 49 two-and-a-half weeks after being placed on suicide watch. Please pray for his family.
