On Wednesday, March 14, it was revealed that Donald Trump Jr., President Trump’s eldest son, was “headed for divorce.” He and Vanessa Trump had been married since 2005 and have five children together.
The initial sources reported that the couple had been living separately for a while due to marital problems. One source that is reportedly close to the couple commented on the timing of it all.
They said, “The problems have been there for a long time, the couple had hoped to stay together during the President’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. He’s never there.”
The following day, Vanessa Trump officially filed for a divorce from Don Jr. They released a statement about their decision.
They said, “After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
Now, new reports have emerged that have caused Twitter users to explode in an argument. Don Jr. is said to be dating someone new.
According to Page Six, President Trump’s eldest son is now dating Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. Sources told the news site that the couple has been seeing each other for several weeks.
One source said, “Don Jr. and Kimberly are seeing each other, and are having a great time. While he wants to respect the privacy of his family, he is getting divorced, and he enjoys Kimberly’s company.”
After the news was revealed, the Twitter world exploded with opinions. While some people are supportive of the relationship as they have respect for both Don. Jr. and Kimberly, others have been making brutal comments about the timing of it all. Some that are opposed to the relationship focused on Don Jr.'s recent divorce, while others focused on Kimberly's past relationships, including the former mayor of San Fransisco, Gavin Newsom, as well as a rumored relationship with Anthony Scaramucci.
