Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are only days away from their wedding on Saturday, May 19th. The special day will kick off with the couple’s arrival (where members of the public have been invited to greet them), followed by the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, a reception at St. George’s Hall, and an exclusive evening reception with only close friends and family.
One member of the Royal family is reportedly “deeply upset” after learning she was excluded from the evening reception. According to the Daily Mail, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, widely referred to as “Fergie,” was not invited to the second reception and she’s not happy about it.
The Duchess, 58, was married to the Duke of York Prince Andrew from 1986-1996. Despite their divorce several years ago, she has allegedly remained an important part of Prince Harry’s life.
Fergie’s ex-husband and two children, Princess Eugenie of York and Princess Beatrice of York, will be attending the exclusive reception for only 250 people on the evening of the wedding. Sources confirmed to the Daily Mail that Fergie was “complaining” about this detail.
Fergie was also not invited to Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011.
