On Tuesday afternoon, reports emerged about a split within the Palin family. According to TMZ, Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin’s daughter, and her husband, Dakota Meyer, have separated.
Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer got married in 2016. They also have two daughters together, 2-year-old Sailor and 9-month-old Atlee. Additionally, Bristol has a 9-year-old son with her ex, Levi Johnston.
According to the report and sources close to the couple, Bristol and Dakota are no longer living together. Additionally, rumors have emerged that they no longer follow each other on Instagram, a platform that the sources say they each use regularly.
As of Tuesday, no official divorce papers have been filed between Palin, 27, and Meyer, 29. Additionally, no information has been given about who would receive custody of their children.
The couple has been through several ups and downs throughout their relationship. According to ET Online, they met while filming Sarah Palin’s show, “Amazing America,” in 2014.
In March of 2015, the couple announced their engagement. Shortly after, however, they called it off. Bristol and Dakota eventually got back together after their daughter, Sailor, was born. They got married in June 2016. In the spring of 2017, their second daughter was born.
At the time, the couple said, “Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be.”
Now, almost two years into their marriage, they have reportedly split up. So far, the Palin family has not commented on the situation.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates as they are released.
