Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of “The Hills” just announced the birth of their first child. Montag confirmed that the couple had a boy on Sunday, October 1st.
They told Us Weekly that they named their little boy Gunner Stone. Gunner was born at 3:06 p.m.
The baby weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces; he was 19 inches long. The little baby had blond hair and blue eyes like his parents.
"Heidi and Spencer are proud parents of a healthy baby boy as of this afternoon," the couple's rep exclusively told Us.
"We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby boy," added Montag. "It was the hardest and most rewarding experience."
Pratt echoed his wife’s feelings. He called the day his son was born, "Officially the most lit day of my life."
The couple, who were married in 2008, announced their pregnancy in April 2017. This is the first child for both of them.
“I have never been more excited,” said Montag, 31, at the time. “The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child! I’ve read every pregnancy book, and now I realize I don’t know anything."
“Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her,” said her husband, 34. “She has planned for and thought about this.”
The couple didn’t leave the gender of their baby a mystery. In May, the announced that they were expecting a baby boy.
“It was in my heart to have a boy,” shared Montag. “I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, ‘Let’s just make sure it’s healthy. Boy or girl, I don’t care.’”
Heidi documented her pregnancy on her Instagram, showing how she exercised during the pregnancy and spent time with her husband.
Prior to their baby’s arrival, in August, the couple enjoyed a “babymoon” in Hawaii. Montag shared some beautiful photos of the trip. The couple was certainly well-rested for their new arrival.
Congratulations to the couple on their first child. We can’t wait to see the first photo of their little boy. In other celebrity news, Tom Petty's daughter is speaking out after his death.
