Audrina Patridge, actress, model, and one of the past stars of the popular reality TV show "The Hills," made a sad announcement on Wednesday. Patridge has filed for a divorce from her husband of ten months.
Audrina got married to professional BMX dirt bike rider Corey Bohan last November. The couple welcomed their daughter, Kirra Max Bohan, that previous June.
While the family seemed to be in good relations over the last year and a half, things behind the scenes allegedly took a turn for the worst. Audrina filed a temporary restraining order against Corey on Monday, due to a domestic violence incident.
Her rep told People, "Audrina's number one concern is for her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time."
On Wednesday, the reality TV star filed for an official divorce. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the split took place after an ongoing series of what Audrina calls emotional abuse.
Audrina listed a series of events where Corey's actions caused her to fear for the safety of her daughter. While she says that things never got physically abusive, there were several instances where emotional abuse was evident.
This is a tragic situation for anyone to go through, especially such a young family. Please be praying for Audrina and her toddler's safety. For another breaking news story, read our latest article about the Hollywood celeb who just served a low blow to Ivanka Trump on Twitter.
