On Wednesday morning, TMZ revealed that reality TV star Farrah Abraham was involved in an altercation that resulted in her arrest. She was arrested at The Beverly Hills Hotel after fighting with a staff member.
Farrah became well known after her time on "Teen Mom," a popular reality TV show. According to reports, she was staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday night. She got into a fight with a hotel security guard who had asked her to leave after she was being disrespectful to other guests.
Sources nearby said that she was attempting to use her celebrity status to win the argument. When that didn't work, Abraham resorted to physical violence. She reportedly hit the guard in his face, grabbed his ear, and pushed his head.
Thankfully, the guard only suffered minor injuries after the altercation and the situation was, overall, under control. However, that doesn't make the situation any less ridiculous as the entire thing was unnecessary. Officers, unsurprisingly, suspected that alcohol was involved in the incident.
According to E-News, the celebrity was arrested on misdemeanor battery and trespassing charges. She was booked early Wednesday morning to the Beverly Hills jail and was given a $500 bail.
A Beverly Hills Hotel spokesperson said, "We can confirm there was an incident involving a patron in the Polo Lounge this morning. As this is an ongoing investigation with the Beverly Hills Police Department, we are unable to provide any further comment at this time."
Before the arrest, Farrah had posted a photo on Instagram documenting her time in Beverly Hills with the caption, "Entrepreneur's workin even at the pool."
