The Queen of England recently celebrated a major milestone! She turned 93-years-old on Sunday!
She is now the oldest and longest reigning leader for the British Royal family. Many people praised her for choosing to celebrate her birthday in an incredible way.
Rather than stay home and make the day about herself and her own birth, the Queen chose to go to church and to honor Jesus! It also happened to be Easter Sunday around the world.
"Elizabeth was accompanied by members of her family, including grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry, and William’s wife Catherine, at the Easter Mattins service in St George’s Chapel," according to Reuters.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not in attendance due to Meghan's pregnancy. The church the Queen went to is the same one where Prince Harry and Meghan were married.
"Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926, in Bruton Street, central London and became queen in 1952 at the age of 25, meaning she has now reigned for more than 67 years," according to reports.
It is so wonderful to see the Queen setting a good example and honoring God!
