With Christmas right around the corner, families around the world are planning their holiday get-togethers. This is no different for the royal family, who just participated in their annual Christmas lunch!
On Wednesday, December 19, several members of the royal family got together at the Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas lunch. Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and several other royals were in attendance.
The Royal Butler social media account wrote, "Today over 40 members of the Queen's extended family will join her at Buckingham Palace for a pre-Christmas lunch. Busy day for us at Buckingham #Palace to serve for the Queen's traditional pre-Christmas #Royal lunch for her extended family. Before HM goes to #Sandringham."
Though not many photos have been released from the special lunch, the ones that have been made public show a smiling Kate and Meghan wearing very different styles.
Duchess Kate wore a bright pink blouse and kept her hair and makeup simple. Duchess Meghan wore a lace top with a frilled collar, which online speculators are guessing is a repeat dress from a previous interview in 2017.
Princess Beatrice attended the special event as well, along with Princess Eugenie, and Zara Tindall.
According to reports, the tradition is to serve turkey and all of its trimmings at this annual event. Additionally, Queen E usually gives gifts to all of the children.
