Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announced the name of their fourth child on Friday. They revealed that the baby boy is named Psalm.
This seems to be a reflection of Kanye and Kim's Christian faith. It's a little different than the names of their other children, North and Chicago, but the name has more in common with Saint.
Kim tweeted a text exchange from Kanye which read, "Beautiful Mother's Day. With the arrival of our fourth child. We are blessed beyond measure."
People on Twitter weren't quite sure what to think about the name.
Kim Kardashian, 38, and Kanye West, 41, welcomed their fourth child together. This child is a baby boy, Kim confirmed on Twitter on Friday.
“He’s here and he’s perfect!” she wrote.
Twenty minutes later, she added, "He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her."
A woman named La’Reina Haynes carried Chicago for Kim and Kanye. However, the couple used a different surrogate for this child because Haynes was pregnant with a child of her own, according to Page Six.
Kim gave birth to her two older children. She had complications with Saint that led her to decide to use a surrogate for subsequent pregnancies.
She said that 1-year-old Chicago isn't aware that she's about to become a big sister, but the older children are excited. North is 5 years old and Saint is 3.
“They are excited,” Kim said. “I mean, I don’t know if they don’t feel it as much because they don’t see my big belly and probably hear me complaining every two seconds. But, we do talk about it a lot, so I think they are really excited. I think my son, I don’t know how he is going to react because he doesn’t get it yet, but my daughter is really excited.”
On May 16, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Kim shared their wedding photos from their wedding with the caption "5 years and 4 kids life couldn’t be better! *anniversary coming so soon*."
Congratulations to the family!
