Lawyer for Workers CEO Mohammed Gangat has revealed that prosecutors will be allowed YNW Melly tattoos to prove that the murder was gang-related.
Gangat said that Florida law allows for an enhancement. If you are convicted of murder in gang-related cases, it could lead to the death penalty.
In February 2019, two counts of first degree murder were filed against the rapper for allegedly shooting YNW Sachaser and YNW Juvy.
Prosecutors seek the death penalty because they claim that the capital felony was committed for financial gain. The capital felony is particularly heinous and atrocious and cruel. The capital felony is a homicide and was premeditated in a cold, calculated and premeditated fashion without any moral or legal justification.
The lawyer said that “This coming week, a motion will be heard by the judge seeking to exclude the prosecution’s expert witness who stated that the fatal shots came out of the backseat.”
