Monday, January 8th marked another emotional day for the Royal family as they have been facing a series of emotional events lately—Kate Middleton and Prince William’s third child is on the way, Prince Harry’s fiancee will walk down the aisle later this year, and now, Princess Charlotte just started nursery school!
The 2-year-old princess had her first day of school at Willcocks Nursery School in London on Monday, according to the Kensington Palace Instagram page.
According to PEOPLE, Charlotte's new school is located in a church hall nearby the family's home at Kensington Palace.
The Royal Family captured the special moment with adorable photos of little Charlotte. The toddler is wearing a fleece red coat with a pair of matching red shoes and bow in her hair, accompanied by a soft pink backpack and scarf.
According to the Instagram posts, the photos were taken by her mother Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

The posts stated, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School."
