Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton recently welcomed a new addition to their family — Prince Louis. The youngest prince was born on April 23rd and has been a trending topic worldwide since his arrival earlier this year.

Royals fans have had few opportunities to see photos of Prince Louis. Pictures were first available when he left the hospital with his mother and shortly after, pictures of him and Princess Charlotte were released.

Months later, fans will finally get the chance to see photos of the growing baby again! The Palace announced Louis’ christening details on Wednesday, June 20th, in which the Royal family is expected to share photos from the big day.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London,” the palace said in a statement. “Prince Louis will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.”

Rev. Welby holds special value to the Royal family. According to PEOPLE, he also baptized Louis’ older siblings — Prince George and Princess Charlotte — shortly after their arrivals into the world. In addition, Welby recently officiated Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

Although Princess Charlotte’s christening took place at a separate church, both Prince George and Duchess Meghan Markle were baptized at The Chapel Royal. How special!

Royals fans are ecstatic as this news means Duchess Kate is sure to make her next public appearance — bringing the entire family together again. Since giving birth to Prince Louis, the Duchess of Cambridge has stayed fairly under wraps other than attending May’s royal wedding and the Queen’s birthday parade.

The outfits from her most recent royal outings captured global attention. Kate’s fans are anxious to see what she will wear to her infant son’s christening.
