The world has been buzzing with excitement for the upcoming Royal wedding. Meghan Markle is set to tie the knot with Prince Harry on May 19th in England.
Although thousands of people are going to be attending the ceremony, one special person is unable to make the big day. Princess Diana, Harry's mother, will surely be watching down on her son from heaven.
Harry was very young when he lost his mother in the untimely car crash. However, it is not stopping him and Meghan from making sure that her presence is still honored during their wedding.
"The couple’s floral arrangements inside St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, where they will tie the knot on May 19, will include white garden roses, one of Diana’s favorite flowers," reported People.
It's not the first time white roses have been used to honor the late Princess. To mark the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death last summer, a temporary garden opened at the late royal’s former London home, reported People. It was also noted that Harry and William were involved in the project.
Prince Harry has also chosen to include diamonds form Princess Diana's ring into Meghan's wedding ring.
“I think everything about Harry’s thoughtfulness is – and the inclusion of that and obviously not being able to meet his mom it’s so important to me to know that she’s a part of this with us,” Meghan said about the ring during the couple’s engagement interview in November.
Harry also opened up recently about how he believes Meghan and his mother would have gotten along. It was extremely sweet and tearjerking.
“Oh they’d be thick as thieves, without question, I think she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, you know so excited for me, but then, as I said, would have probably been best friends – best friends with Meghan," he said.
