On November 27th, 33-year-old Prince Harry and 36-year-old American actress Meghan Markle announced their engagement. The happy couple met in Summer of 2016 through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since.
Harry, who publicly noted that he knew Meghan was “the one” from the first time they met, is ecstatic to call her his wife. He unexpectedly proposed to his then-girlfriend over a romantic dinner at home, and of course, she said “yes!”
Later it was revealed that the two would wed at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19th of 2018 for their traditional and royal, “happy church wedding.” Other details surrounding their special day are unknown at this time, including the guest list.
However, sources confirmed that former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama were expected to receive a wedding invitation. Prince Harry and the Obamas have been very friendly over the years.

In a separate interview with BBC, which aired on December 27th, Prince Harry answered the question about inviting Obama to his upcoming May wedding.
According to TODAY, Harry responded, "Well, I don't know about that,'' Harry said. "We haven't put the invites or the guest list together yet so who knows whether he's going to be invited or not. Wouldn't want to ruin that surprise."
Fox News previously reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to invite the Obamas to their wedding. The speculations created controversy, fearing how President Trump would react to the situation, give that he hasn’t yet met the Queen.
