Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting ready to welcome their new child into the world in the coming weeks. Her official due date has not been released publicly but some fans feel she could give birth in the near future.
Now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are making a major announcement. They are breaking from a major Royal protocol and some people have mixed feelings on it. They told the world they are not going to announce when Meghan first has the baby.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will only announce the birth of their baby once they have 'had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family', Kensington Palace revealed today," reported Daily Mail.
Meghan is said to be planning for the birth of her child with an all-female team of midwives. She is expected to have the baby at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
"She wants to follow in the footsteps of the Queen, who was born at the Mayfair home of her grandparents and gave birth to all four of her children at either Buckingham Palace or Clarence House," according to reports.
The couple is said to be extremely grateful for all the support they have received. They hope fans are understanding in their decision to have the baby privately and to enjoy the moment as new parents before announcing the birth to the rest of the world.
"The decision to keep arrangements for the birth private is in contrast to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who publicized details about the delivery of their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - who were all born at the Lindo Wing, the private maternity unit of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington," wrote the Daily Mail.
