Prince George just got a really awesome birthday present, ahead of his fifth birthday.
It’s been a busy summer for the lad. Last week he attended the christening of his younger brother, Prince Louis.
Just a few weeks before, he watched his father play in a charity polo match at Beaufort Park. Later, they attended Trooping the Colour.
Before that, he was a page boy at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Now, he has a special gift given to him from the Royal Mint.
According to PEOPLE, the Royal Mint just announced that in honor of Prince George’s fifth birthday on July 22, they will issue a commemorative coin (worth five pounds in the UK, $6.50 US), available for purchase by the public.
The coin will feature an image of St. George, a patron saint of England, fighting a dragon. According to local legend, St. George, a knight, defeated a dragon who was attacking the village.
The coin symbolizes the victory of good over evil through courage. A similar coin was issued for Prince George’s second birthday as part of The Progress of a Prince coin collection.
