President Trump, Vice President Pence Issue Major Statements on Billy Graham's Death

Arguably the most famous U.S. Evangelical leader of all time, Billy Graham, has passed away. The news broke Wednesday morning that Graham died at his home surrounded by his family.

Graham was 99 years old at the time of his death. He had been battling illnesses and health issues in recent months. Please join us in praying for the entire Graham family.

During Graham's life, millions of people were helped to find Christ. Graham was able to reach people around the world and was a longtime adviser to many U.S. presidents.

"The Billy Graham Evangelist Association put his lifetime audience at nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries and territories, with 'hundreds of millions more' viewing him on television, video, film and webcasts," reported Fox News.

Now, President Trump Vice President Pence have issues statements following the news of Graham's passing.

"The GREAT Billy Graham is dead. There was nobody like him! He will be missed by Christians and all religions. A very special man," President Trump wrote.

"Karen and I were saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Americans of the century, Reverend Billy Graham. We send our deepest condolences to the Graham family. Billy Graham's ministry for the gospel of Jesus Christ and his matchless voice changed the lives of millions. We mourn his passing but I know with absolute certainty that today he heard those words, "well done good and faithful servant." Thank you, Billy Graham. God bless you," wrote Vice President Pence.
