President Trump's time in the White House has made headlines since the very first day he stepped foot in the Oval Office. Now, another major shake-up is coming to Washington.

According to reports, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is out! The move comes just days after Gary Cohn left as Chief Economic Adviser.

Tillerson has long been rumored to be the next person to leave the White House. Many news outlets have reported that Tillerson and President Trump did not agree on issues regarding American foreign policy.

President Trump sent out a major tweet about the news. He also announced Tillerson's replacement and made a huge move in the CIA.

"Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State. He will do a fantastic job! Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!" Wrote President Trump.

Some have wondered why the President chose to oust Tillerson. A senior adviser told reporters that President Trump was very strategic in his timing and had a reason for the move.

“The president wanted to make sure to have his new team in place in advance of the upcoming talks with North Korea and various ongoing trade negotiations,” the adviser said.
