While Democrats have been criticizing President Trump for his response to Hurricane Florence, there's one little boy who doesn't have any problems with his president.

On Wednesday, Trump visited a North Carolina aid distribution center. He greeted Americans impacted by the devastation of the hurricane. He also handed out goods to those who arrived to ask for aid.

President Trump greeted and comforted all those who he met. However, there was one interaction that was especially heartwarming.

While he was with North Carolina, a young boy approached him with a simple request.

“Can I have a hug?” the little boy asked the POTUS.

President Trump responded by kindly giving the little boy a hug. It was the sweetest moment.

Trump also praised first responders and the FEMA response to Hurricane Florence on Wednesday.

"Right now, everybody is saying what a great job we are doing with Hurricane Florence – and they are 100% correct," Trump tweeted. "But don’t be fooled, at some point in the near future the Democrats will start ranting... that FEMA, our Military, and our First Responders, who are all unbelievable, are a disaster and not doing a good job. This will be a total lie, but that’s what they do, and everybody knows it!"

Sadly, 37 people "have died in storm-related incidents, 27 in North Carolina, 8 in South Carolina and 2 in Virginia," CBS News reported.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Florence. Please join us in praying for them in the coming weeks.
