A breaking news story is hitting the media outlets this afternoon. President Trump has just made a major announcement concerning the North Korean summit that was set to take place in a few weeks.

The President had previously canceled the meeting, citing the tremendous hostility and aggression of the North Koreans in recent weeks. However, after meeting with North Korean officials at the White House today, the meeting is back on.

"Mr. Trump made the announcement after talks with a senior North Korean envoy at the White House. He also said that North Korea 'wanted to do denuclearization', although the North did not confirm this," reported BBC.

"As @SecPompeo said: @POTUS Trump’s objective is very consistent & well-known: the complete, verifiable, & irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. President Trump has also made it clear that if Kim Jong-Un denuclearizes, there is a brighter path for North Korea," wrote Vice President Pence on Twitter.
