Popular Packaged Lunch Item Recalled After Scary Find, Customers Warned of Deadly Risk

Easy grab-and-go lunches are super convenient for thousands of people. Being able to simply throw your lunch in a bag and pop it up later, all ready to go, is a very convenient way to prepare for your next meal.

Some of the most popular pre-packaged lunches at salad bowls. However, one brand has just announced they are having a major salad recall after concerns that their products may be contaminated with Listeria.

"Apio, Inc. of Guadalupe, California is voluntarily recalling five varieties of Eat Smart Single-Serve Salad Shake Ups with a 'Best Before' date of Dec. 14 after a random sample tested positive for Listeria Monocytogenes. The company said it is recalling all products produced on the same production line on the same day as that sample out of precaution," reported Fox.

The popular salads have been shipped across the country for distribution. They have been sent to Florida, Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. The effected salads are listed below.
